About Us

Joyner Commercials Ltd is a family business established over 70 years ago, specialising in the sale of used commercial vehicles.

Originally started by Sid Joyner, R S Joyner was  formed back in 1945 selling coal by horse and cart. Sid developed the business, and went on to set up a haulage company, which evolved into a commercial vehicle dealer, operating from premises in Elephant & Castle, in south east London. 

The business continued to expand, and moved into new premises in Camberwell in 1968. Sid Joyner’s son, Keith Joyner, joined the company in 1976 and the company name changed to R S Joyner & Son.

Keith oversaw the move to a new 2 acre site in Bermondsey in 1990 where we would consistently have over 150 vehicles in stock and continue to sell to the U.K. market and export all over the world. 

In 2002, Keith’s son Jordan – and now third generation – joined the company in 2002 and has continued to expand and grow the business, becoming a major worldwide exporter. 

Our premises are now located in Dartford, which has excellent transport links to both London and the rest of the U.K.  Also, conveniently located by the Dartford Crossing on the M25 we are easily accessible by road and rail. 

As an independent commercial dealer, we offer vehicles from all manufacturers from vans to articulated lorries.

Our trained staff can offer a prompt reliable service supplying vehicles at competitive prices. A major exporter throughout the world, our staff are readily available to organise shipment to all continents.
